I’m not the tallest guy in the world by any means, and these are not the largest wheels in the world.  I am standing full height here, basically looking straight ahead at these monster wheels!

Day 204 – March 24th – Super Porta-Pottie!

While out doing photos last September of the Cadomin Limestone Mine I came upon this odd contraption.  I’m not quite sure what sort of portable facility this is, but it’s pretty awesome!

Day 203 – March 23rd – Hockey Heels

So I’ve been working on this shoe project for quite a while now, shooting ideas as they come to me.  So far I’ve produced I think 6 shots that are just awesome.  I’m hoping to get more ideas in the coming months and hopefully ideas I can make into reality.  Here’s one from the rink group.

Day 202 -March 22nd – Crusher Control Panel

Finally another interior of the Cadomin LimeStone Mine.  This is the control panel of the crusher.  I didn’t think to ask at the time, but I wonder why theress so many buttons.  It’s a machine that crushes rocks.  Shouldn’t ON and OFF suffice.  Or maybe a couple of different speeds for options.  But really, that’s a lot of buttons for a machine that  breaks rocks.  I think.

Day 201 – March 21 – Pink Rose

Again, from my trip to Cadomin to see the limestone mine.  I got this shot of this beautiful pink rose from the garden beside the local convenience store.

One of several shots from this great weekend of shooting.  This one was edited with a slightly less intense effect from the Topaz Adjust filters.  I’m quite in like with this.

Day 198 – March 18th – Mushroom

While wandering around the mountains looking for fun things to shoot I found this little guy all by his lonesome.  So I shot him.  And the rest is history.

Day 197 – March 17th – Canoes N Boats

Again, at Maligne Lake, there were all these boats and canoes just laying on shore.  It was a really nice day!  Why weren’t people out in these boats!?

Day 196 – March 16th – Some older stuff for a while…

So, due to various life happenings, I’m catching up here about a month late.   And sadly there’s not a lot of NEW images, as in images shot on a given day, so I will be posting older images that I’ve only now gotten around to editing…

This first shot is from a weekend last September during a jaunt to the rockies.  This shot gave me a lot of problems until I tried running Topaz Adjust on it.   It’s a nice little filter set but you REALLY don’t want to stick with the defaults because then you just end up with shots that look like everyone elses.  This one suffered some extra adjusting of the image after having run Topaz so it so hopefully it looks a bit different than a default.

Day 194 – March 14th – Kaylee

So, no shooting today, I decided I didn’t want to just randomly shoot a random subject at random.  So, I just started with the editing of cat pictures.  Here’s a sweet one of Kaylee!

Day 193 – March 13 – Cats!

Did a shoot today with a pair of very sweet kitties and then later did one with my roommate’s cat!  I think I like pet photography.  Here’s one from the shoot with Alana’s cats.

Why do both of those look so wrong?  Must be one of those days!  Hahaha…  Anyway, YES!  More cloudage!  As shot over the North Saskachewan River from my car on the Whytemud!

Loved the reflection of the sun off the buildings today.  Mix that with my odd obsession with building cranes and I’m pretty stoked.
